THE IDESTROM'S

Manne, Lois & Zachariah

At age 10 Manne began playing organ for Sunday school and then playing for congregational singing at age 13.  In addition to going to school, he worked on music 3-4 hours every day.  He has lived and worked in four countries and is fluent in three languages.  Lois was born into a pastor’s home and is gifted musically playing piano and organ.  After spending 40 years as a widow, she joined Manne both in marriage and the ministry.  Lois has a son Bill along with his wife Anda and four teenage grandsons.  Zachariah is in high school and is very gifted musically.  Technology is his passion and is hoping to one day have a career in the computer world.

Niclas, Tina & Annika 

Niclas has a B. Sc. from the University of Toronto. For the last 20 years he has done computer programming. Niclas plays piano and trumpet and is currently the music director at Faith Alive in Mississauga. Tina is a Toronto high school teacher and loves to write songs. Their daughter Annika attends high school, takes gymnastics and loves art.

Rebecca

Associate Professor of Old Testament at Tyndale Seminary, Toronto.  Dr. Idestrom joined the faculty of Tyndale Seminary in 2001 after having taught at Western Pentecostal Bible College in Abbotsford, BC for five years.  She sings with her church choir in Toronto and currently is writing a book entitled “The Glory of the Lord.”

Henric, Robin & Jeremiah

Henric has a Master's Degree in Conducting from Azusa Pacific University, California. He is Minister of Music at Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church, Ridgefield, CT and is the founder and conductor of the SymphonyNYChorus, New York City. He previously was Minister of Music at Centre Street Church in Calgary.  Robin has a Master's Degree in Voice from Manhattan School of Music and is an amazing soloist and pianist. She works side by side with Henric leading worship at Jesse Lee. Their son Jeremiah is in high school and loves sports.
